Black and White Star in Circle

For the previous 20 years, after sustaining a lower back herniated disc injury, I had struggled with sciatica, back pain and assorted referred nerve pains. I kept going swimming, walking, acupuncture and assorted physio sessions over the years. Although I continued to work I was constantly concerned with a lack of confidence in my back which restricted my activities and I avoided lifting anything heavy.

Weekly group sessions with Danielle over the past four years has made a huge difference to my life. It is the most significant change I have made, improving the physical and mental quality of my life.

The focus on stretching and strengthening with a series of fairly gentle, but well-constructed effective exercises has given me so much more flexibility, muscle strength and core stability, increasing my confidence along the way.

Her sessions are a cross between Pilates and Yoga, but more fine-tuned to the spine and adjacent/related muscles.  I couldn’t even cross my legs and had difficulty bridging and planking but now I can do them to a level I need to. My sciatica rarely troubles me these days

Danielle does not push people beyond their limitations but has a fun way of encouraging pupils to help improve their body strength, core and stability, which protects the spine and related connective tissues.

Her classes are suitable for all ages. It is a lucky person who goes through life without some form of back issues especially in our modern more sedentary lifestyles.

I have no hesitation in recommending her classes to anybody.

She is highly qualified and well thought of by all the people who attend her classes and on a one to one basis.

The benefits of continuing following her instruction/routines at home during lockdown and generally on a regular basis has also been a real plus
